Regional integration continues to receive political support in Southern and Eastern Africa but what is happening on the ground? This session will explore recent developments in SADC, COMESA and the EAC. It will consider the role of international development partners and the private sector with a specific focus on the area of trade facilitation. The presentation will draw on recent work done by Tutwa Consulting Group for the EU, GIZ and USAID.
