Treaty for the Establishment of the African Medicines Agency

The African Union Development Agency has undertaken the development of an institution that is aimed at regulating medicines control in the continent. This after the African Union Assembly unanimously adopted the treaty to establish an African Medicines Agency (AMA) in 2019. AMA promises to improve access to quality, safe and efficacious medical products in Africa.
